Unique handmade tapestry, designed and woven at the Texture Tapestries studio in Cornwall.

Materials: cotton warp and wool weft. Framed in a bespoke wooden frame behind glass on coloured mount.

Part of a series which investigates the relationship between sculpture and tapestry weaving. Weavers, like sculptors, create in three-dimensions: constructing their canvas at the same time as adorning its surface. This series responds to sculptures by Barbara Hepworth in the gardens of her St Ives studio. Within its simplicity of design, this tapestry aims to translate the feeling and movement of the sculpture, and the variegated surfaces created by Hepworth.

Exhibited at Imagine Makers Gallery (Falmouth) in June 2025.
