Workshop - Introduction to Tapestry Weaving

Learn to weave your very own tapestry! Everything you need to create a small tapestry weaving.

Weaving is perfect for those looking to unwind with a meditative hobby or explore a new form of artistic expression. In this workshop, we will guide you through the process of creating your own small woven tapestry, starting with how to warp a wooden frame loom, select colours, textures and materials. You will take home your own unique tapestry, as well as the skills to continue your weaving journey.

No prior experience is needed. Workshops are designed for beginners and take place at the bright and airy weaving studio at Krowji in Redruth. All materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring any materials or inspiration you would like to work with. We will work on wooden frame looms, which will be available to buy after the session to continue your weaving journey at home.

3-4 students, 3hr session, £48 per person.
