Unique handmade tapestry, designed and woven at the Texture Tapestries studio in Cornwall.

Measurements: 28 x 29 cm (including frame)

Materials: cotton warp and wool weft. Framed in a bespoke cherrywood frame.

Part of a series which investigates the relationship between sculpture and tapestry weaving. Weavers, like sculptors, create in three-dimensions: constructing their canvas at the same time as adorning its surface. This piece responds to Two Forms, Divided Circle by Barbara Hepworth. Within its simplicity of design, this tapestry aims to translate the feeling and movement of the sculpture, and the variegated surfaces created by Hepworth.

Exhibited in the BTG 20th Anniversary Exhibition in Dumfries, Edinburgh, Plymouth and London, from Aug 2025 to July 2026; and at Imagine Makers Gallery (Falmouth) in June 2025.
